Conducting a campaign to promote the scheme for separate collection and recycling of construction waste

DESCRIPTION:

The activity envisages conducting two information campaigns on the territory of the municipality of Smolyan for the introduction of the scheme for separate collection and recycling of construction waste. The campaign will be organized over two days, where citizens will be able to familiarize themselves with the locations of containers through the specially developed interactive map on the project site, learn about the path of construction waste and the advantages of separate collection and recycling through the distribution of information brochures about the "Construction Waste Path", will learn from a special host of the event about the benefits of separate collection and recycling of construction materials and their subsequent investment in construction. For this purpose, a scenario, brochures on the path of construction waste, an interactive map with the location of the vessels, photographic material and press releases will be prepared for the dissemination of information about the upcoming and, subsequently, the realized information campaign. For the purposes of the campaign, the tent purchased for the municipality of Smolyan will be used. Information about the campaign will be published on the website of the project and on the website of the municipality of Smolyan. The campaign will be held twice during the project implementation period. The first time immediately after the introduction of the scheme, the second - one year after the introduction of the scheme.

 

WAY OF IMPLEMENTATION:

The activity will be performed by external contractors of public procurement contracts under the project. Information and communication activities will be awarded in one public order with several separate items, according to the provisions of the Public Procurement Act for conducting procedures through joint awarding. The selected contractors will be responsible for designing and producing and delivering the informational materials for the campaign, preparing the execution script, preparing and distributing press releases, providing event host(s) and preparing photographic material. All activities carried out by the contractors will be reported with the submission of a report and supporting evidence of the work performed. For the purposes of conducting the campaigns, tents will be purchased (one for the municipality of Smolyan and one for the municipality of Banite), which will be placed in the center of each campaign as a "starting point" for reducing the amount of landfilled waste.

 

RESULT:

As a result of the implementation of the activity, two information campaigns will be organized and conducted to popularize the scheme for separate collection and recycling of construction waste in the municipality of Smolyan. Two press releases will be issued and an interactive map will be developed with the location of separate waste collection receptacles. To popularize the scheme, 500 copies will be developed and distributed to the population. information brochures on the construction waste route and the advantages of recycling construction waste and re-introducing it into construction.
