Carrying out campaigns to popularize the scheme for separate collection and utilization of biodegradable waste

DESCRIPTION:

The activity envisages the holding of two informational events on the territory of the Smolyan municipality and the holding of two informational events on the territory of the Banite municipality to popularize the introduction of the schemes for separate collection of biodegradable waste. The campaigns will be organized within two days, in which the residents of the two municipalities will have the opportunity to learn about the advantages of home composting and the ways to prepare home compost. For the purposes of the campaigns and for disseminating information among the population, informational materials will be developed, delivered and distributed - flyers, a presentation, a manual for home composting. In order to inform the citizens in advance about the upcoming events, a press release will be distributed through local radio stations. Information about the events, dates and times will be published on the project website and on the websites of the two municipalities. A script, press release and informational materials will be prepared for each information campaign. During the campaigns, the possibility for every resident of each of the two municipalities to submit an application and receive home compost will be publicized. The campaigns will be held twice during the project implementation period. The first time immediately after the introduction of the scheme, the second - one year after the introduction of the scheme.

WAY OF IMPLEMENTATION:

The activity will be performed by external contractors of public procurement contracts under the project. Information and communication activities will be awarded in one public order with several separate items, according to the provisions of the Public Procurement Act for conducting procedures through joint awarding. The selected contractors will be responsible for designing and producing and delivering the informational materials for the campaign, preparing the execution script, preparing and distributing press releases, providing event host(s) and preparing photographic material. All activities carried out by the contractors will be reported with the submission of a report and supporting evidence of the work performed.
